Cancellation and refund policy

Cancellations must be received in writing to the Symposium Office. Please note transfer of your registration to another person is accepted and the full name and details of the person that will replace you must be advised in writing to the Symposium Office prior to the conference commenced. No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the Symposium.

English Editing Assistance

You are responsible for the spelling and grammar of your paper. The articles with poor English might be rejected. None-native English Language speakers, are strongly recommended to check the English quality of their paper through editor suggested below on their own costs. Click for info

No. authors must submit their papers first, if they receive acceptance notification, then they will be invited for full registration and payment

Any financial certificate can only be issued after full registration. You may apply for this certificate by sending a request to

Those articles selected by the scientific board of reviewers in the commissions will be nominated for publishing in supporting journals. However, no paper will be published without written consent of all relevant authors.

Not at all. What makes a paper nominee for publication is its content, originality and innovation. This will be judged by scientific board of reviewers in the relevant conference panel.

You may present your paper using video conferencing facilities. For more information you can check video conferencing part in the site.

Yes of course, each author is allowed to invite 6 guests to attend the conference. This can be done by registering in the "Guest".

The maximum time is 7 to 10 days from submission date.

Certificates of attendance/participation for these participants will be sent to their postal address in less than 10 days. However, a digital copy of these certificates can be sent through emails if requested.

Yes, all accepted papers will be indexed in Civilica and ISC.

Yes, all and each one of authors will receive a separate hard copy certificate.

This depends on the subject being covered and the importance of this subject. However the number of these papers are limited. The priority goes to research papers containing the minimum novelty and originality.

Based on the requests made by participants in previous conferences for presenting their papers through video conferencing facilities, now video conferencing is possible for all participants fron all participants from all over the world.
Therefore, attendees who intend to use video conferencing facilities, should have the following accessories supplied:
A. Fill up the appropriate registration form.
B. Supplying a system with the following abilities:
• 1.4 GHz (or more) processor
• 2 GB (or more) of RAM
• Sound card
• Webcam
C. Supplying Internet with a minimum bandwidth of 2048 kbps
D. Installing the appropriate software provided by the conference administration at least 2 weeks prior to the conference commencing date.
E. Sending your supplied presentations in the format of PowerPoint at least a week before the conference commencing date via the email below.
F. Posters can also be presented via video conferencing where the presenter is required to be online at the specified time.

Khavaran Institute of higher education has programmed and conducted series of symposiums named SASTech (symposium on advances in science and technology) consisting of more than four commissions and conferences both national as well as international each year during last 12 years.

Following the successful events of the series of SASTech symposiums in the last 12 years, it is our pleasure to announce the commencement of the 13th Symposium on Advances in Science & Technology (13thSASTech-2018) will be held in 2018. The Symposium will be from December 14 to 18, 2018. This symposium consists of five commissions:
1. Commission I: Marine & Ocean (M&O)
2. Commission II: Architecture & Future Cities (A&F)
3. Commission III: Civil & Environment (C&E)
4. Commission IV: Electronics & Health (E&H)
5. Commission V: Computer & IT (C& IT)
It should be noted that, like previous symposia, this year a number of articles selected by the scientific board of reviewers, will be published in journals whom are supporting this symposium. I wish you all success and pleasant time during this symposium and for the rest of years to come.
